About me

After studying English at university and then training and working as a teacher for 7 years, in 2009 I had my daughter and it was through her that I became aware of the profound benefits of craniosacral therapy.  She wasn’t feeding very well and a midwife suggested I take her to a craniosacral therapist. After just one treatment she was a changed baby. Not only was she feeding well, but she was also a lot calmer and more contented: I was intrigued and, after starting to have treatments myself, knew that I had to learn how this amazing therapy worked.

In 2010, I started my 2 year training with the College of Craniosacral Therapy which confirmed for me the wide range of benefits and depth of healing which can occur when the body is listened to with total non-judgemental acceptance. I have a huge respect for this work and feel privileged to be in the position to share its benefits with others.

Because treating babies is a specialist area, in 2014 I completed an 18 month postgraduate course in Paediatric Craniosacral Therapy. This enables me to also work with baby body language and birth process.

For me, the phoenix embodies rebirth, renewal and rejuvenation, all ideas which are tied up in the practice of craniosacral therapy.

I am fully qualified and registered with the Craniosacral Therapy Association.
